Choreography & Musical Theatre Directing

Theatre & Musical Theatre

Jeff single-handedly created a theatre department for Arts and Athletics on West 84th Street in Manhattan. He directed and choreographed many productions there, including Annie, Charlie & The Chocolate Factory, Grease, Beauty and The Beast, and West Side Story.

Jeff directed Musical Theatre workshops three times in Shenzen, China for the Ya Ya Kids Theatre - two in 2018 and one in July 2019.

Jeff has worked as a professional choreographer with Lincoln Center on the "Reel to Real" series, the Little Orchestra Society, and National Tap Dance Day.

Jeff has also choreographed and directed programs for TADA!, a musical theatre performance group for children in Manhattan.

Jeff Edmond Dance Theatre

The Jeff Edmond Dance Theatre was a tap dance troupe in the early 1990s. The shows were conceived, choreographed and directed by Jeff, and performed from 1990-1994. Performance venues included The Cat Club (formerly at 76 East 13th Street in Manhattan), The Village Gate, Houlihan's Downstairs, as well as camps and public schools.

Tap Revolution

The Tap Revolution show featured dance pieces set to music such as Devo.

A mix of Techno Tap, Classical Tap and comedy.
